Selection Criteria

·         Must be an existing Visiting Medical Officer or Staff Specialist working for MLHD.

·         Registration with AHPRA as a Specialist intensivist (FCICM).

·         Demonstrated leadership capability, including strong negotiation and communication skills.

·         Ability to enhance multidisciplinary teamwork.

·         Experience in innovative service planning and policy development.

·         Demonstrated ability to coordinate and build effective clinical teams.

·         Understanding of health system funding and Activity Based Funding frameworks.

·         Experience in leading quality improvement initiatives.
