About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the dynamic and supportive Allied Health team based at Griffith. You’ll also be able to connect with a network of Occupational Therapists across the district, to provide collegial support and advice.

As the Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Provision of a comprehensive and effective occupational therapy service in collaboration with consumers, their families and carers using a range of clinical and professional interventions

• Involvement in the planning, implementation and evaluation of services and identification, development and leading of clinical practice and quality improvement activities with other staff.

• Providing clinical and team leadership within the daily running of the Griffith Base Hospital

• Provide clinical supervision and support to Level 1/2 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants & students on clinical placement as required.

Employment Type: Full Time Temporary (8 December 2025 until 31 December 2026 – Maternity Relief) & Casual Opportunities

Remuneration: $112,396.00 - $116,038.00 per annum (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable) or $59.69 - $58.52 per hour + Casual loading

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

1. Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and a current AHPRA registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia

2. Advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience across a range of areas, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.

3. Experience in clinical and team leadership, including experience in staff and student supervision.
