Join the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) Recruitment Services team as a Recruitment Coordinator, Agency and play a vital role in supporting hiring managers, streamlining processes, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
About the role
As the subject matter expert for agency recruitment, the Recruitment Coordinator provides specialist advice and support to hiring managers and recruitment agencies on recruitment policies, procedures, Awards, and legislative requirements. The role ensures agency recruitment practices are compliant, consistent, and aligned with NSW Health policies and workforce objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end agency and short-term recruitment across MLHD, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, legislation, and Whole of Health Nursing Agency Panel guidelines.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing expert advice and support to enable effective recruitment outcomes.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and the nursing and midwifery portfolio team to assess workforce needs and implement strategic solutions for temporary roles.
- Oversee recruitment procedures, workflows, documentation, and training to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with policy and Award requirements.
- Coordinate recruitment onboarding processes, escalate challenges where needed and champion inclusive and equitable hiring practices that align with MLHD's workforce goals.
