About the Opportunity
We are looking for an Night Shift Clerk to join our Emergency Department at Griffith Base Hospital. This position is responsible for providing high quality and efficient frontline administration to the Emergency Department, and administrative support to the wider Emergency Department team.
As the Administration Officer, you will:
- Provide quality customer service to patients, employees and members of the public, ensuring a respectful and helpful response is provided to all.
- Deliver operational, clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the Health Service, including assistance with patient admissions, transfers and discharges, record management, booking services/appointments, managing all incoming/outgoing mail, stores management and ordering.
- Organise any outpatient services and the generation of any associated billing.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a similar support role
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other record-keeping systems
- NSW Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one
