About Your Role

The Medical Administration Unit Manager reports to the Director of Medical Services (DMS) at the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital (WWBH) and is responsible for the delivery of operational management support for medical services.

The incumbent will oversee the operational functions of medical services at WWBH including, but not limited to: VMO payment and engagement, Locum and Staff Specialist engagement and payroll; JMO management and education; Medical rostering and payroll; Annual Medical Recruitment Campaign.

The Medical Administration Unit Manager will work closely with the DMS to ensure effective and efficient operations of medical services. This includes providing operational advice and reporting to support the DMS in relation to Medical workforce operations.
