About the Opportunity

As a Health and Security Assistant (HASA), you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors at Young Health Service. In addition to security functions, you will support patient care through a range of non-clinical and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of the service.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Confidence using computers and security systems.
  • NSW Security Licence (Class 1A) and First Aid Certificate.
  • A current driver’s licence and is willing to travel as needed (including long distances).
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain
  • Vaccination Category A compliance (as required by NSW Health).

     

  • Ability to work independently and perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to understand and apply relevant legislation, policy and professional standards.
  • Resilience and composure when interacting with distressed patients.
