About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and resilient Emergency Department Administration Officers to join our fast-paced Emergency Department team.
Operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, the Emergency Department Administration Team plays a critical role in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate admissions processing and financial compliance across emergency and after-hours hospital services.
This is a pivotal frontline role requiring sound judgement, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic clinical environment.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience in hospital admissions, medical administration or a similar healthcare environment
- Strong understanding of Medicare eligibility, private health insurance processes and compensable claims
- High-level accuracy in data entry and financial transactions
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
