What you'll be doing
The Team Leader works in collaboration with the Head of Department to provide operational, clinical, and professional leadership within Podiatry and High Risk Foot Services across RNSH and Ryde Hospitals. This role is responsible for delivering advanced clinical care, coordinating multidisciplinary clinics, supervising staff, and driving service innovation.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. Proven expertise in delivering advanced clinical care, particularly in managing complex high-risk foot complications, including specialised lower limb wound assessment and management
  3. Demonstrated experience in managing clinic operations, including scheduling, resource management, and optimising patient flow, while maintaining administrative systems to support quality improvement and research activities.
  4. Can you describe a time when you had to balance advocating for your team’s needs while also aligning with leadership expectations? How did you navigate this dynamic, and what was the outcome?
  5. This role involves identifying and driving service improvements to enhance patient care. Can you provide an example of an initiative you introduced or contributed to that improved patient outcomes or service efficiency? How did you engage with stakeholders, and what challenges did you overcome?
  6. Can you provide an example of how you have implemented or contributed to an evidence-based clinical approach to improve patient outcomes?
