About this role
We are looking for a Senior Project Officer to join a new dynamic team in the Centre for Aboriginal Health.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Closing the Gap, the Senior Project Officer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of NSW Health activity against the Closing the Gap Implementation Plan.
The role will also involve developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across government and non-government entities to support project outcomes.
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $120,859 to $133,183 p.a. (plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week)

What you'll be doing:
- Undertake policy development, projects and coordination functions related to Closing the Gap priority areas.
- Prepare high-quality written reports, briefs and correspondence to inform or respond to Government requests.
- Develop and maintain productive internal and external stakeholder relationships through effective communication, collaboration and consultation to ensure project deliverables and strategic objectives are met.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering Aboriginal health strategies, policies, programs, and or projects.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
