About this role
You'll be joining the largest public health system in Australia and contribute to a world-class health system in NSW.
Develop and support the implementation of best practice policies, programs, projects and activities that have an international focus for the Office for Health and Medical Research. Provide policy advice to support the achievement of NSW Health’s objectives. Support the building of mutually beneficial strategic partnerships, particularly with an international focus, that deliver better health outcomes.
This role is located within the Office for Health and Medical Research of the Clinical Innovation and Research Division in NSW Health and involves collaboration with other government agencies, non-government organisations and industry bodies.
Crown Clerk Grade 9/10, starting salary from $120,859 - $133,183 p.a. (plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week)

What you'll be doing
- Manage a coordinated and collaborative approach to relationships that focus on medical research and medical technology to ensure a whole-of-government approach to achieving NSW Government objectives.
- Contribute to international engagement activities for NSW Health to showcase NSW’s capabilities in health and medical research and to attract investment and new partnerships.
- Prepare high quality written advice in the form of reports, briefs, policy, discussion papers, or circulars to inform, respond to requests, or initiate consideration of new policy initiatives.
- Stay abreast of health and medical research capabilities and priorities in NSW and across the world.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- The ability to plan and deliver projects within set timeframes, while managing a fluctuating workload of other tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to connect stakeholders across the NSW health and medical research and life sciences sectors
- Excellent written communication, with experience in preparing briefs and reports with minimal input from more senior managers
- An understanding of the importance of record keeping, and a commitment to implementing processes that enable knowledge retention for NSW Health
- The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment
