Executive and Ministerial Services – Senior Business Partners (multiple positions - ongoing and temporary)



Join our Executive and Ministerial Services Branch at the Ministry of Health for an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in the Briefs and Correspondence team with potential for movement across our other functions which include Parliament, Cabinet, Ministerial Liaison and Events.

The Senior
Business Partner roles offer an exciting and challenging opportunity for people:

The roles ensure the provision of high quality and timely advice on matters to Ministers and executives relevant to the Health portfolio. 


About you

You bring extensive experience working in a government department or agency, excel at organising communication flows to ensure prompt, accurate, and clear information sharing. With exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a sharp eye for detail, you consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.


Your ability to engage and collaborate with key stakeholders enables you to effectively resolve issues through consultation and negotiation, even under tight deadlines.


You thrive in networking and teamwork, building and maintaining strong working relationships, whether as part of a motivated team or working autonomously with limited guidance.


You will also have:

  • Experience working within a government department or agency.
  • Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on clients' needs and manage conflicting demands and priorities appropriately with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated experience encouraging new and different approaches and solutions that will deliver benefits beyond stakeholder expectations.
  • Understanding of Departmental and Government processes.


Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $120,859 - $133,183 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.
