The Senior Advisor Revenue and Compliance manages the implementation of revenue-related financial management strategies and reforms. This includes supporting the NSW Health system through skilful negotiation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliant revenue generation and the financial sustainability of the health system
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $125,693 - $138,510 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
- Manage and promote compliant revenue generation, including liaison with private health insurers and other third-party payers to support districts and networks.
- Manage and co-ordinate projects and resources aimed at achieving and sustaining compliant revenue generation.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on the progress of projects to the Principal Revenue Advisor.
- Establish, maintain and support networks across Health service providers to ensure NSW Health meets its legislative obligations.
- Develop and promote policies to support compliant revenue generation.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant financial or economics related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Sound understanding of the Australian Health system, including funding mechanisms impacting federal /state relations; NSW Health’s legislative responsibilities regarding revenue generation and how compliant revenue generation supports the NSW Health system.
- Sound understanding of how private health insurers and other third-party payers operate in the health system.
- Extensive experience in the use of data and data analytics (MS excel and/or Power BI).
