At the North Coast Cancer Institute, we pride ourselves on providing high quality patient care. We are currently seeking Radiation Therapists to join our team in the beautiful NNSW beachside location at Cudgen (Tweed Valley).

As a Radiation Therapist based in Cudgen, you’ll experience a collaborative and nurturing environment with regular rotations through CT, Planning, and Treatment, while receiving support and guidance from a dedicated Radiation Therapist Educator and expert Senior Radiation Therapists.

Our Tweed Valley department is equipped with a Single Elekta Versa HD Linac and Monaco Planning. Our modern services include IMRT/VMAT, SGRT (including tattoo-less techniques), 4DCT, image-guided treatment protocols and soon to commence SBRT program, fostering opportunities for professional growth and service improvement through projects and research initiatives. Career development pathways exist for those with an interest in technical expertise and operational leadership.

Our team operate within a virtual planning environment that leverages best practices and the collective experience of our team from across our local health network. Our dynamic approach ensures there is a balanced distribution of workload across our sites, in line with skill mix and development needs of our team.

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Radiation Therapist to join the team at the Tweed Valley Hospital. Performing Radiation Therapy simulation, planning, treatment, patient care, quality assurance and quality control, as an accredited practitioner.
