The Role

- This position is responsible for maintaining the safe, efficient and effective use of the Oncology Information System (OIS), at the St George Cancer Therapy Centre.
- Ensuring an effective training program for all staff utilising the OIS, developing the OIS to enhance work.
- Facilitate any software upgrades, assist in the writing of reports for the purpose of data collection, troubleshooting operational errors and minimising downtime of OIS.

- Experience with the implementation and/or use of Varians Aria information system
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrated oral and written communication skills, and proven instructional ability with other staff
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including the capacity to promote initiative within a group, being self-motivated and self- directed to supervise, educate, train and objectively assess staff in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Radiotherapy planning and treatment techniques and principles
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of quality assurance and accurate documentation in Radiotherapy practice.
- Current EPA licence - in Radiotherapy
- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist.
