Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
An exciting Permanent Full Time opportunity has opened up within the Mental Health Plains Access Team for a Psychologist. Within this role, you will provide psychological input to multidisciplinary assessments, interventions and discharge plans within a biopsychosocial model.
The successful incumbent will provide a range targeted interventions and supports, including clinical mental health treatment, disability support and referrals to essential community services and resources.

What you will bring to the role
- Recognised four-year tertiary qualification in Psychology and registration with Psychology Board of Australia
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of psychological assessments and interventions with people presenting with mental health issues
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Current drivers licence and willingness to use it for work purposes
- Computer competence and literacy
