ABOUT THE ROLE

The Program Support Officer provides a range of high-level executive, secretariat and program support services to the Associate Director Clinical Programs and the Clinical Programs team. This includes drafting and editing responses to correspondence and briefing requests, monitoring and reporting on a variety of team, strategic, operational and project plans.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field from a recognised university provider.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a high standard of professional conduct and ability to exercise sound judgement.
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and demonstrated ability to critically analyse issues and identify solutions to problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including experience in the preparation of project documentation, materials and reports
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated capacity to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of people and organisations.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and standard office software packages, and ability to adapt and respond to new systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
