Where you'll be working:

Join the Rehabilitation Services team at Rankin Park Centre, located on the John Hunter Hospital campus. This facility includes a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and an outpatient service, providing specialised care for patients recovering from neurological conditions, amputations, orthopaedic injuries, and deconditioning.


About the role:

As a Physiotherapist at Rankin Park Centre, you will:

  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy to inpatients and/or outpatients within a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Work with patients recovering from neurological conditions, amputations, orthopaedics, and general deconditioning.
  • Utilise high-level clinical reasoning skills to assess, plan, and implement individualised rehabilitation programs.
  • Collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to service innovation, ensuring best practice and high-quality care delivery.
  • Adapt to changing patient needs and evolving service models to achieve positive health service outcomes.
