As the Operations Manager- Surgery and Endoscopy, you will provide the clinical, operational and professional leadership to the Surgical and Endoscopy services at Wollongong Hospital, facilitating effective, efficient and safe operational management of the services. This will be achieved by working in partnership with the Co-Director Surgery to lead the delivery of clinical services for Surgery & Endoscopy Services within the Illawarra Hospital Group.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

· Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation (APHRA) as a Registered Nurse.
· Relevant tertiary qualification in Health Management or equivalent and/or substantial recent experience at a senior management level
· NSW Drivers Licence
· Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A
