Remuneration: $122,850 - $139,559 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

The NSW Health Education Centre Against Violence (ECAV) is a statewide unit auspiced by Western Sydney Local Health District. ECAV is responsible for multi-sectorial learning, capacity building and workforce development, community development and supervision, in the specialist areas of prevention and response to violence, abuse and neglect (PARVAN).
ECAV Portfolio Managers play a vital part of ECAV’s leadership team and are responsible for managing all aspects of the nominated portfolio, including operational, financial and workforce functions to ensure optimal performance and achievement of KPIs and other deliverables. They also ensure all work undertaken within the portfolio is evidence- informed, of the highest standard and consistent with industry best practice and adapts to emerging workforce needs.
The Operations Manager is responsible for Administration, Information Technology (IT) and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) compliance systems. This position ensures the provision of effective operational administrative support, event management, marketing, recruitment, payroll and accounts management, project management and support, process and quality improvement and related initiatives to support the leadership team in the smooth functioning of ECAV.

- Leadership experience cultivating a learning culture and proven ability to effectively lead, mentor and manage people in ways that are consistent with NSW Health core values with consideration for education, project management and service delivery.
- Operational and governance skills, and experience managing human resources and professional development, finances, projects, strategic planning, risks, change, policy development and continuous quality improvement.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in effective project and program management, including the ability to develop solutions to complex problems, design and implement effective projects which achieve intended outcomes, within budget and time frame.
- Highly developed analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision making and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and demonstrated ability to learn new systems and platforms (e.g.HPE, Student Management Systems).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, including ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, and the ability to prepare high level reports/documents/briefs/contracts.
- Driver’s licence valid for NSW and willingness to use for work purposes
