About the role


Join us in this specialised nursing role as a Lung Clinical Nurse Specialist assisting patients diagnosed with lung cancer.

In this role, you’ll be part of the team providing comprehensive care  for patients diagnosed with lung cancer.

The role is based in Cancer Services at the Orange Health Service. Working days are weekdays and no shift work is required. The clinic is a 9 chair outpatient treatment centre, with 2 linear accelerators providing comprehensive care for medical oncology, radiation oncology and haematology patients.

You will work collaboratively with a team that consists of care coordinators, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, haematologists, oncology registered nurses, oncology allied health and palliative care. In a collaborative, close knit team you will be well supported and your dedication will be seen and appreciated.  You will be an integral member of the community where you will see the results of your care, build client relationships and see the appreciation of the community for the role you play in their health.
