About the role
Are you motivated Nurse Manager (or equivalent) seeking to build on your current managerial skill set for future growth and development? Do you have an interest in leading projects that contribute to the efficient and effective operation of local health services?
The role will provide district wide leadership on the delivery of rostering improvement strategies, including process oversight and provision of advice on:
· Identifying, managing and mitigating risks related to rostering practices, including compliance, operational efficiency and fatigue management.
· Compliance with industrial awards and local policies and procedures related to rostering, operational requirements and financial management.
· Reviewing and approving changes or improvements to rostering systems, processes and tools, such as demand template adjustments.
· Evaluating the effectiveness of rostering practices and making recommendations for continuous improvement, development of training and education strategies.
To be successful in this role you will need a strong knowledge of industrial agreements and roster management.
This role will require working closely with the Executive Group, General Managers, Business Managers, Quality Clinical Safety & Nursing Directorate and Finance Partners.
