The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and coordination to the development of treatment pathways and programs of care for people with an eating disorder (or related clinical care issues) presenting to the Local Health District.

The position will oversee, in collaboration with local executives, oversight committees and the Statewide coordination team, the implementation of the Local Eating Disorders Service Plan that has been developed in response to the NSW Service Plan for People with Eating Disorders (2013-2018).

The key components of this position are:
• Service development: to drive local development and changes to eating disorder services across the inpatient and community setting;
• Clinical consultation and care provision: to provide care and/or consultation when needed to staff and/or consumers with an eating disorder; and
• Participate in Statewide activity: to work in partnership with the Statewide coordinator and the coordination team comprising coordinators from all districts and to be actively involved in its activities.
