About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
The primary purpose of the role is to participate in provision of perfusion and laboratory services for Cardiothoracic Operating Theatres, CICU and cardiac wards by assisting in all aspects of perfusion services, under the direction of medical perfusionists and cardiac surgeons together with pacemaker testing on insertion and follow-up clinics.

Ideal Candidate
- Currently holds degree (Bsc/ BAppSci or equivalent) in medical science or related field.
- Willing to participate in a rotating roster including overnight and weekend on call.
- Able to prioritise, work under pressure and organise tasks in an effective manner.
- Must have advanced communication and strong interpersonal relationship skills.
- Able to function in a dynamic team and work autonomously when required.
- Must be solution orientated.
