About the Role:
Looking for a rewarding role with flexible hours and the ability to be based in Tamworth, Newcastle, or anywhere within the Hunter New England region? As part of the DAP+ team, you'll play a vital role in delivering essential healthcare services while enjoying the freedom to balance work with your lifestyle. This casual position involves driving and managing vehicle operations of the DAP+ Medibus, transporting the team to planned activities in local townships. You may stay for a week at a time or just a day, ensuring the vehicle remains safe, clean, and available when needed.
You'll be supported by the Program Implementation Manager, with ongoing learning and training opportunities, including access to HNE My Health Learning and HETI platforms. If you're passionate about community health and want to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
Essential Criteria:
The successful candidate must hold a light rigid drivers license and proven experience in driving a light or heavy weight vehicle with a stable work history.

The Diabetes Alliance Program Plus (DAP+) is a dedicated initiative aimed at enhancing health outcomes and patient care experiences for individuals with diabetes, all within the convenience of their general practice setting. DAP+ provides a variety of flexible and innovative services, including in-person and virtual case conferencing, diabetes and endocrine advice line, education events and conferences, and mobile Medibus.
