What you'll be doing
As a Cystic Fibrosis Ambulatory Service Coordinator, you will oversee the operational management of the Cystic Fibrosis Ambulatory Service at Westmead Hospital, supporting a multidisciplinary team.
- Managing daily operations, appointments, billing, and resources.
- Leading service planning, policy implementation, and accreditation.
- Overseeing staff recruitment, orientation, and performance.
- Monitoring key performance indicators and service targets.
- Supporting professional development for Cystic Fibrosis Service staff.

Selection Criteria
- Relevant clinical qualifications in a relevant health-related field and extensive recent clinical experience in a relevant field and/or experience in the management and planning of health services.
- Substantial, recent experience in management of multidisciplinary clinical teams, human resource management and demonstrated clinical leadership skills.
- High level communication and analytical skills including proven experience in the management of clinical activity and performance monitoring.
- Proven knowledge and experience of ambulatory and inpatient clinical service delivery and clinical practice models, and proven skills to efficiently plan and manage delivery of ambulatory clinical services.
- Proven ability to be self-directed, proactive and work autonomously with a high degree of initiative, able to prioritise work demands and achieve deadlines.
- Proven organisational planning ability.
- Knowledge and experience of quality processes and a commitment to the implementation of best practice and clinical service innovation.
- Sound knowledge of patient data systems involved in the management of hospital outpatient services.
