The Opportunity
Are you seeking an opportunity to draw on your skills and knowledge of the food service industry, and apply them in a fulfilling new career? We are looking for a Cook to join our team at The Children's Hospital, Westmead.
In this important role, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of patient meals. Using your sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety, infection control and food handling principles, you will ensure that all food is handled in a safe and hygienic way. You will also coordinate the ordering of items in collaboration with the Food Service Supervisor and be responsible for stock audit and maintenance.

- Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa.
- This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for a complete list of required vaccines.
