Where you'll be working
The Health Informatics Data Quality Officer ensures the accuracy of patient data in the LHD's systems, supporting key data quality initiatives and assisting with patient record management.

  • Investigates and resolves duplicate patient registrations
  • Ensures accurate updates of patient identifiers
  • Conducts iPM data quality checks and reporting
  • Collaborates with the Health Information and Records team
  • Supports preparation for the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR)

What you'll be doing
The Radiation Oncology Network (RON) is seeking a Clinical Trials Radiation Therapist to support clinical research across Western Sydney. This role involves managing treatment data and contributing to research activities. In this role you will also:

  • Assist with clinical trial management
  • Support ethics submissions and data reporting
  • Collaborate with RON Clinical Research Unit
  • Facilitate patient recruitment and data management
  • Contribute to healthcare record management

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Therapy or equivalent
  • Registration: Provisional or general AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist
    National Police Check

Selection Criteria:

  1. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing workloads.
  2. Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative.
  3. Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients and the multi-disciplinary team.
  4. Previous experience in research and quality improvement / assurance activities.
  5. Demonstrated computer literacy across multiple platforms, including electronic patient records and data base management.
  6. Hold, or willing to obtain, good clinical practice (GCP) certification.
