What you'll be doing
Blacktown Medical Oncology Research conducts clinical drug trials and investigator-initiated cancer research studies within an expanding unit. We are seeking a dedicated team member to support our Clinical Trials team, ensuring efficient operations and optimal performance. In this role you will:

  • Support clinical drug trials and cancer research studies
  • Enhance team efficiency and effectiveness in operations
  • Contribute to groundbreaking research in oncology
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals
  • Help improve patient outcomes through innovative studies

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualification: Certificate IV in Pathology or Diploma in Laboratory Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution with subjects relevant to pathology or medical laboratory operations.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualification in a health or science discipline and work experience.
  2. Proven proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as database applications.
  3. Advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to be able to engage a variety of stakeholders.
  4. Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to a fast pace environment and be flexible with work hours.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  6. Prior experience or knowledge of audit and quality assurance activities and / or monitoring in the context of clinical trials.
  7. Well-developed organisation skills to ensure to ensure smooth patient workflows.
