Remuneration: $54.77 - $71.89 per hour
Hours Per Week: 32 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the position is to assemble, operate and maintain equipment for cardiopulmonary bypass perfusion, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, intra-aortic balloon counter pulsation and other devices for supporting the cardiovascular system. This cardiovascular support will include participation in a clinical roster both in and out of normal working hours. The position will also assist in logging and auditing activity in perfusion and participate in education, training and development of new techniques and new technology in perfusion.

Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent
- Certificate in Perfusion from the Australasian Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or equivalent
- Extensive experience in cardiopulmonary bypass and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships with team members
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of MS Office and data management systems
- Ability to be part of an on call roster to fully meet service needs
- Sound organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure
