We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team and take on the Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1 role in our short-term residential facility providing a safe and therapeutic community environment for consumers at varying stages of recovery.

Selection Criteria:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, and post registration qualifications in a mental health specialty or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
- Demonstrated involvement working directly and collaboratively with non-government organisations in supporting mental health consumers
- Demonstrated involvement in the development/change of clinical practice underpinned by evidence based research and demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic and clinical service planning.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills including developed skills in communication, problem solving and decision making skills in relation to managing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development for self and others.
- Extensive experience in assessment, care planning and coordination with complex mental health consumers in a community setting within a strengths and recovery oriented framework
- Commitment to consumer consultation and participation in service planning and delivery, policy development and implementation, priority setting and service evaluation and quality activities.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence and a willingness to travel as required in role.
