About the Role
To ensure timely and accurate clinical coding, lead processes to improve the accuracy of coding through mentoring, audits, education, query processes, continuous clinical documentation improvement, coded data analysis and activity-based funding education.

Location is negotiable within the Mid North Coast Local Health District, we have offices in Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie.  


About You
Do you hold a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Information Management) and/or relevant clinical coding qualifications with eligibility for HIMAA membership?  We are looking for someone who has current experience in clinical coding auditing across a broad range of casemix at a base to tertiary facility level with a commitment to ongoing skills and competence with a thorough understanding of the Australia Coding Standards; DRGs and ABM.
