Remuneration: $55,665.96 per annum ($28.07 per hour) plus shift allowances and 11.5% superannuation
Hours Per Week: Various
There are multiple locations on offer:
Westmead Hospital
Cumberland Hospital
Mt Druitt Hospital
Blacktown Hospital and
Auburn Hospital
These positions are based at, and work in, General Services in the listed Hospitals in Western Sydney Local Health District. General Services in these listed Hospitals are due to transition to HealthShare NSW later this year. This means that applicants will become an employee of HealthShare NSW, working at these Hospitals. HealthShare NSW is part of NSW Health and provides Local Health Districts with state-wide services such as finance, payroll, procurement, food, hotel, linen, and non-emergency patient transport. All conditions of employment remain the same and are in accordance with the relevant State Award.

In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in our hospital. Your tasks will include upholding a superior standard of cleaning services in both patient and non-patient areas, adhering to infection control procedures, conducting waste removal, and undertaking infectious cleaning in designated areas.

Eligibility Requirements
- Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description.
- Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa.
- This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for a complete list of required vaccines.
