The bereavement counsellor will provide specialist bereavement counselling, follow-up and support:
- To bereaved known to the SLHD Palliative Care Service
- Where a death has occurred in SLHD or the bereaved reside in the SLHD.
This position will be based across Sydney Local Health District.
- Currently has a relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant experience, eligibility for membership to appropriate professional association if required, Psychologist must have with full registration with AHPRA.
- Has capacity to provide education and training to health professionals in the areas of grief, loss and bereavement.
