We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Nursing Students (2nd and 3rd year in 2025) to join our casual pool as Assistants in Nursing (AIN). This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting while balancing your academic commitments.

 

Expectation of casual pool staff: It is our expectation that all members of our staff consistently exhibit behaviours that align with the CORE Values of our organisation: Collaboration, Openness, Respect, and Empowerment. Exhibits these behaviours in the presence of all stakeholders, including colleagues, direct reports, patients, consumers, and their carers.

SDMH casual pool staff are expected to work a minimum of 1 shift every 3 months however, we encourage you to work a minimum of 1 shift a month to maintain clinical skills.
