What you'll be doing

  • To ensure that the Electronic Oral Health Record (eOHR) platform’s core purpose of delivering clinical and patient outcomes, is consistent with Health’s strategy for improving care across the NSW Health system.
  • To ensure the following outcomes are achieved in the delivery of key clinical systems to WSLHD. These include maintaining the integrity of the system; ensuring its secure (confidential) use; providing necessary reporting and analysis for decision making; ensuring that the administration of the system is in line with agreed standards; and supporting future projects to maintain and enhance system currency.

Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology/health information and/or equivalent industry experience in application support and maintenance working with enterprise applications, Oral Health Information System such as Titanium, eOHR, and enterprise-wide patient management and administration systems. This includes experience in user and system testing of applications.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL scripting and stored procedures.
  3. Proven experience and knowledge with eOHR, Titanium application and related enterprise wide patient administration system, and knowledge of clinical information systems within a health environment with demonstrated understanding of clinical and administration processes in Oral Health
  4. Demonstrated understanding and experience relating to application and software development, and support and maintenance processes i.e. issue investigation and resolution, testing, change control management, version control processes.
  5. Proven high level verbal and written communication skills, with experience in the delivery of clear and concise system support documentation, technical documentation, and stakeholder information. Including demonstrated experience in planning, developing, and delivering training programmes (online training programmes and in person). Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to secure satisfactory outcomes.
  6. Demonstrated highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong planning, time management and organisation skills.
  7. Proven experience leading and project managing application releases and upgrades; working collaboratively in a team environment with a positive attitude who is self-motivated and can work effectively with minimal supervision.
  8. Demonstrate highly developed customer engagement and support experience for delivery of excellent services to stakeholders, with experience in developing, implementing, documenting and monitoring delivery of Service Desk duties in line with the ITIL framework, including Incident management; Change management and Request management and Problem management. Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as required with valid NSW Driver’s License.
