Selection Criteria:
- Proven capacity to deliver general Hospital Services which may include general portering, cleaning, working unsupervised.
- Effective communication skills and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to operate manual handling aid
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience as a wards person or hospital assistant in Healthcare setting, or in other patient care environment, assisting and supporting the provisions of care.
- Must have high understanding of manual handling skills And demonstrated experience in this area. Sound knowledge and practical application/commitment to understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles
- Demonstrated knowledge of hygiene and infection prevention and control principles.
