Selection Criteria:
  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in the social sciences, social work or other relevant discipline
  2. Comprehensive understanding of current health policy, health impacts and key practice issues in relation to violence and abuse prevention & response in children & adults
  3. Demonstrated capacity to work in partnership and consult with key multidisciplinary and interagency stakeholders and ability to facilitate processes for flexible approaches to service delivery
  4. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including interagency negotiation skills, ability to provide timely and relevant advice, analytical skills, negotiate and problem solve; demonstrated experience in working with Microsoft applications including Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage planning and evaluation related to violence prevention & response at strategic and service levels
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage without direct supervision or with some autonomy, a diverse range of tasks, work under pressure, manage projects and meet tight deadlines
  7. Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of issues related to violence and abuse prevention & response in priority populations including Aboriginal communities, CALD communities and in families with drug and alcohol and mental health concerns.
  8. Current unrestricted drivers licence, class C or equivalent.
