What you'll be doing
The Training and Quality Assurance Manager is a pivotal role which contributes to the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) by ensuring that users of the Patient Billing, Receipting and Debt Recovery system are appropriately trained in a customer focused and timely and efficient manner, thereby assisting revenue generation and cash flow improvement within SCHN. 
This senior position takes responsibility for the training of users in the billing, receipting and debt recovery operations in the Transactional Services Department, and throughout the organisation, to ensure quality service delivery to patients and their families, staff and clients of SCHN. 
The Training and Quality Services Manager will use their knowledge and experience to consult, facilitate, deliver and implement training and education to operational staff, Clinicians and other hospital professionals in the patient billing system. The position will promote the system, and work in association with the Systems Data Manager, to identify and respond to service requirements. With strong problem solving skills, this role identifies potential issues, develops and implements strategies to ensure these are resolved in a professional manner. This position plays a key role in maintaining relationships with other departments in SCHN and requires a full understanding of business and operational aspects of service delivery. 
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, together with the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick, forms the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN).
