About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.

The Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District Alcohol and Other Drugs service offers free, nonjudgemental services and treatments for drug and/or alcohol use, including information and support for families. Our service offers specialist drug and alcohol doctors, nurses and allied health staff who respect the client's right to choose from a range of treatments offered with our services underpinned by a philosophy of harm reduction.

An exciting leadership opportunity is available to join the Substance Use in Pregnancy and Parenting Service (SUPPS), a specialised program dedicated to supporting patients with complex substance use concerns during pregnancy and throughout early parenting. SUPPS provides care from pregnancy until the child reaches 12 months of age, with the option for former clients to be re-referred up to their child’s fifth birthday.

As the Team Leader, you will play a critical front-line leadership role in the operational management and ongoing development of the SUPPS program. You will oversee the effective day-to-day management of human, physical, and financial resources while ensuring service delivery meets organisational and community needs. The position is also responsible for the preparation and provision of routine management reports, supporting transparency and continuous improvement across the program.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced and motivated leader who is passionate about supporting women, children, and families affected by substance use, and who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Apply Now!
