- Medical degree registrable in NSW and Fellowship of the ACEM or equivalent specialist qualification in Emergency Medicine or other specialist recognition as provided for in the Staff Specialist (State) Award or Health Insurance Act (1973).
- Demonstrated performance in the provision of Emergency Medicine Services.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work well as a team member.
- Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate and post graduate education.
- Demonstrated commitment to a patient focused service, including commitment to safely fulfil the goals of the organisation, including the NEAT.
- Commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working in a department with significant paediatric activity.
- Computer literacy.
