- Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated extensive level of postgraduate clinical experience in acute dysphagia management, communication and swallowing rehabilitation across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Experience in conducting Videofluoroscopy Swallow Studies, laryngectomy and tracheostomy care.
- Recognised skills and ability to act a speech pathology resource person in areas of expertise and commitment to the development of skills of Speech Pathologists in the Mid North Coast Local Health District.
- Demonstrated ability in the planning, coordination and management of departmental services and staff.
- Current unencumbered Driver's Licence
