Qualification: Bachelor of Social Work
Registration: Eligibility of Australian Association of Social Work

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated clinical experience in social work assessment, crisis intervention and counselling.
- Sound knowledge of the impact of chronic illness, disability, treatment and hospitalisation on patients and families
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved patient and/or consumer care and outcomes.
- Well-developed time management skills, ability to work with minimum supervision, excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills and high level computer literacy.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build therapeutic relationships.
- Commitment to professional supervision, building professional skills and capacity, and willingness to seek appropriate guidance and direction.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and / or clinical practice improvement activities.
- Ability to participate in the After Hours Crisis On-Call Social Work Service.
