Selection Criteria
- A bachelor degree in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated understanding of services provided by a rural hospital Social Work Department, with the ability to provide practical and innovative crisis intervention strategies across a broad and often complex range of presenting issues.
- Demonstrated personal strategies for maintaining self-care in a position frequently experiencing stressful and traumatic encounters.
- Licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive occasionally for work purposes.
