Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in nursing, clinical psychology, dietetics, occupational therapy or social work with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Nurses or eligibility for membership of the professional equivalent e.g.: DAA for Dietitians or AASW for Social Workers.
  • Demonstrated post-registration clinical experience in mental health including experience in eating disorder service provision with high level clinical and consultancy skills and knowledge of contemporary mental health/allied health practice and intervention.
  • An understanding of the concept and principles underpinning the provision of care for people with eating disorders and skills using a collaborative, strengths based approach when working with people with eating disorders.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and Project Management skills including capacity for planning, implementing, evaluating, reporting and providing advice in clinical service delivery and redesign.
  • Evidence of working well with in an inter-disciplinary team environment, including the facilitation of meetings and negotiations.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Experience and ability in the use of computer hardware and software and the use of health data and statistics for the analysis and presentation of data.
  • Experience in the support, coaching and development of other staff.
