Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Physiotherapist who is ready for a new adventure.

 

About the role:

Join Murrumbidgee Local Health District as a Senior Clinical Physiotherapist (Level 3), where you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy care across a range of clinical areas. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll apply advanced clinical reasoning to assess, treat and support patients, operating with a high degree of autonomy and professional independence. As the Senior Clinical Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver comprehensive, patient-centred physiotherapy services within your specialty area, using evidence-based practice and telehealth where appropriate, in line with MLHD models of care.

  • Lead and collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes, coordinate care, and facilitate safe and timely discharge.

  • Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and support to Level 1/2 physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, and students on placement.

  • Drive quality improvement by planning, implementing and evaluating service development initiatives, and contributing to research and professional networks.

  1. A qualified physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration and demonstrated advanced clinical skills across a range of practice areas, including a willingness to utilise telehealth.

  3. An excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with diverse stakeholders — from patients and carers to GPs, health professionals, and community organisations.
