Senior Dental Assistant Grade 1/2 - Mudgee

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent and relevant experience as Dental Assistant. (For appointment at Grade 2, or progression to Grade 2, Certificate IV in Dental Assisting or qualification deemed equivalent will also be required.)
- Commitment to the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and demonstrated capacity to coordinate and monitor local audit activity.
- Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to relate well to adults, children and other health professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective staff training in infection control, instrument reprocessing and dental assisting.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and effectively lead the dental assisting team.
- Demonstrated ability to plan own work, manage priorities, use initiative and to problem solve.
- Effective computer skills for communication, coordination of staff and use of patient dental administration and management systems. .
- Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes. This may involve travelling long distances and some overnight stays. Evidence of minimum Class C licence to drive in NSW
