About the Role
Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care.
Since opening in 1929 our hospital continues to grow to meet the changing needs of our community and incorporate new models of care.
Security Staff have a duty of care of all patients, staff and visitors to the hospital and are required to participate in crime prevention, deterrence initiatives and risk minimisation strategies.
Ideal Candidate
- Licenced according to the Security Industry Act 1997 – Class 1 A with current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Previous experience and knowledge of electronic systems such as alarm monitoring systems, access control and CCTV surveillance.
- Ability to perform shift work on a 24 x7 rotating roster.
