Selection Criteria to be Addressed:
- Current Division 1 registration with AHPRA with a minimum of five (5) years full time equivalent post registration experience including three (3) years full time equivalent experience in Respiratory
- Relevant post graduate qualifications in respiratory nursing
- Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, review and redevelopment of policy, procedures and education programmes relevant to respiratory
- Experience in setting strategic direction for service delivery, demonstrating leadership skills and ability to develop the service utilising an ethical framework for decision making related to policy, procedure and practice
- Ability to work in an inter-disciplinary, inter-dependant team context. Commitment to champion, educate and lead a multidisciplinary team to improve patients’ outcomes as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, carers and a diverse range of health care providers.
- Computer skills – experience in word processing, spread sheets and database management
