Research and Data Requests Manager(Medical Records Manager Grade 3)-Liverpool Hospital-Perm F/T

• Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management (or equivalent as deemed by the organisation)
• Excellent electronic data management skills, particularly using MS-Excel and MS Access
• Demonstrated understanding of the impact of data quality issues (coding, demographic and activity data) on Casemix
• Demonstrated understanding of the major health data systems used in NSW particularly PAS, HIE, Scheduling and Synaptix and thorough knowledge of data structures within them
• Experience in establishing reporting systems/tools to ensure monitoring and reporting of organisational performance
• Demonstrated well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and a high workload volume
• Excellent ability to manage staff performance and lead teams to achieve service goals with excellent customer service
