The Provisional Fellow position in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine - Neurocritical Care is available at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, for up to 24 months commencing in the 2027 Clinical Year from 01 February 2027. The position provides Advanced Trainees an opportunity to further their training, developing skills important for a consultant role in the spheres of clinical care, education and training as well as research with support from the team consultants and other health care professionals. The Provisional Fellow role is a leadership role, both within the department for other junior medical staff and medical students as well as members of the multidisciplinary team, but also across the broader hospital community.

Selection Criteria:
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
- Registered with the RACP, CICM or equivalent. Preference will be given to trainees working towards a career in intensive care.
- A minimum of 18 months intensive care experience – preference will be given to candidates with paediatric intensive care experience and/or those working previously in a senior registrar (or equivalent) role.
- Demonstrated an interest in Neurology, with supportive evidence from previous training/research experience preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals.
